1. Application of general terms and conditions
1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, booking requests and agreements that you conclude with camping Val d’Or and that relate to the camping pitches and accommodations rented out by camping Val d’Or.
1.2 Camping Val d’Or has the right to amend the general terms and conditions at any time, with or without notice. The latest version of the general terms and conditions can be found on our website www.valdor.lu/en.
1.3 Camping Val d’Or explicitly rejects other general terms and conditions.
1.4 Exceptions to these conditions are only valid if we have agreed on them together in writing.
2. Reservations
2.1 Camping Val d’Or only accepts reservations from persons aged 18 or over. Are you a minor? Then you must always be accompanied by an adult who is present during your stay.
2.2 The reservation is final once we have confirmed your reservation and you have booked via the website and filled in the form, or have contacted us by telephone and paid the deposit. This deposit is non-refundable (see article 2.3). We take your preferences regarding length of stay, location, facilities and services into account as much as possible when making your reservation.
2.3 If you book without a preferred pitch or accommodation, camping Val d’Or can change your pitch number or accommodation number, as long as the type remains the same. If you have stated a specific preference and paid the costs for this, we can no longer change your pitch or accommodation number.
2.4 Payment: After confirmation of your reservation, you must pay a deposit of 40% within four weeks to the following account number: Bank account number: LU870030520534711000 in the name of Camping Val d’Or BIC: BGLLLULL This deposit will not be refunded. Make sure you have the necessary insurance.
2.5 Eight weeks before your arrival date, you must pay the remaining 60%. If you do not do this after a reminder and do not check in on the day of arrival, we will consider this as a cancellation.
2.6 Cancellation? Then you will pay the following costs:
- After booking: 30% of the rental amount.
- Up to four weeks before arrival: 50% of the rental amount.
- One to four weeks before arrival: 90% of the rental amount.
- Within one week before arrival: the full rental amount. Make sure you have cancellation insurance.
2.7 In the event of a refund, for example if you have already paid 100% and you cancel, we will refund you the amount minus the cancellation costs (see article 2.6). Refunds will be processed within 14 days.
2.8 If you book via another website, we cannot help you and you must contact that party for cancellations and refunds.
2.9 One car is included in the reservation. For an extra car you pay €2.50 per night.
2.10 Your reserved pitch or accommodation will remain reserved for you until 19:00 on the day of arrival. If you have not arrived by then and you have not given any message, your reservation will expire without refund.
2.11 A maximum of 8 people are allowed on one camping spot. You may place an extra tent, provided that it is no larger than 5m² and has a maximum of two sleeping places.
3. Check in/out
3.1 The arrival times for camping pitches are between 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM, and for accommodations between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. The departure time for camping pitches is no later than 12:00 PM, and for accommodations no later than 10:00 AM.
3.2 The pitches are allocated by our staff or via confirmation by e-mail. Changing pitches is only possible in consultation with our staff.
3.3 On the day of departure, you must leave your pitch or accommodation clean and tidy before 10:00 AM.
3.4 Camping Val d’Or can carry out a final inspection from 9:30 AM on the day of departure to check that everything is in order.
3.5 If you do not leave the accommodation clean, we will charge €40 cleaning costs.
3.6 In the event of late arrival or early departure, you will not receive a refund.
4. Visitors
4.1 Day visitors are welcome between 08:00 and 22:00. Register your visitors at the reception one day in advance. Are they staying overnight? Then they must register upon arrival and pay the overnight costs.
5. Rules of conduct
5.1 The maximum speed on the campsite is 5 km per hour.
5.2 Between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM you are not allowed to do activities that disturb the peace, such as driving a car, playing music, talking loudly, or throwing away glass.
5.3 You are responsible for the behavior of the children under your supervision. They may not disturb the peace and safety of other guests.
5.4 Barbecuing is allowed, but make sure the barbecue is on a raised platform to protect the ground and the grass.
5.5 Be careful with fire. Never throw away burning matches or cigarettes. Open fires are prohibited.
5.6 Smoking is not allowed in our public areas and accommodations.
5.7 Our tap water is drinkable. Do not use it to play with, the river Clerve is for that.
5.8 In case of fire or other emergency: first call the emergency services (112) and then report it to reception. The owner can always be reached via 00352-920691.
5.9 Camping Val d’Or reserves the right to make changes to the layout and opening hours of the facilities.
6. Interim termination of the agreement
6.1 Do you not comply with the rules? Then camping Val d’Or can ask you and your party to leave the site. The owner can terminate the agreement with immediate effect in the event of serious violations, such as nuisance, unsafe behavior, theft or vandalism.
6.2 Upon termination of the agreement, you must leave your spot within four hours.
6.3 If you do not vacate your spot within four hours, the owner will do so at your expense.
6.4 If you do not agree with the termination of the agreement, you can submit the dispute to the court in Luxembourg or to the Disputes Committee.
6.5 You remain obliged to pay the agreed amount.
7. Waste
7.1 Separate your waste and deposit it in the designated containers.
7.2 It is forbidden to throw anything other than household waste in the containers. Violations will result in additional costs.
8. Pets
8.1 Pets (maximum 2) are allowed, but they must be kept on a leash and their needs must be met outside the campsite.
8.2 Clean up after your pet and throw them in the waste bins.
9. Own risk
9.1 You and your visitors stay at your own risk. We are not responsible for damage or accidents caused by third parties.
9.2 We are not responsible for force majeure, natural disasters or legal decisions that disrupt your stay.
10. Damage
10.1 Report damage immediately to reception. Damage and consequential costs will be charged to the person responsible.
11. Collection costs
11.1 If you do not pay on time, we will charge extrajudicial costs.
12. Applicable law
12.1 These General Terms and Conditions are subject to Luxembourg law.
