Vacation with pet
Camping Val d'Or is a friendly campground where pets are also welcome. We understand that your four-legged companions are an important part of the family. Therefore, we want to make sure that you, your pets and our other guests can enjoy a pleasant stay together.
Camping or renting with your dog
At Camping Val d'Or it is allowed to bring a maximum of two pets per camping pitch. In addition, several accommodations also welcome a maximum of two pets. These are the following accommodations:
- Smala
- Arran
- Hebriden
- Boussole
- Safari tents
- Forest Lodge
- Log cabins standard and plus
House rules for pets
To ensure that all guests, both with and without pets, experience an enjoyable stay, there are some house rules for pets.
- Dogs should be walked outside the campground.
- When walking around the campground, your dog must be kept on a leash at all times. We want everyone to feel comfortable on our property and enjoy the beautiful surroundings undisturbed.
- For “high emergency” accidents at the campsite, special Depo Dog bags are available at reception.
- We also kindly ask that you ensure that your pets do not cause a nuisance to other guests. This includes preventing excessive barking and not leaving your pet alone in the campground.
- Dogs are not allowed in bed, on the couch, blankets or pillows of the accommodation. Therefore, a basket or rug must be brought with you.
There is an extra charge for the stay of a pet. We also ask for a deposit. If the accommodation is left clean, it will be refunded afterwards.
Relaxed walking in nature with your dog
In the immediate vicinity are several beautiful hiking trails through the forest and with beautiful views of the valley. Several hiking trails of various distances start from the campsite. Feel free to drop by our reception for more information on hiking trails in the area.
